Not sure if all bots are ABS plastic, but according to google, the Melting point is 221 F. According to http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Plastic there are other plastics in use. So I think you will be ok at 140F. 🙂 Melting point is less important in this case than glass transition temperature.

Can action figures melt?
As long as you wrap them in cloth and put them in plastic containers or even cardboard boxes they should be fine. You can always try putting a plastic container up there and see if it melts. Ya’ cool is definitely prefered but insulated and dark should work especially for loose toys.18-May-2007
