Can you spray paint action figures?
Only safe to use on the hard plastic torsos of action figures and hard plastic Transformers. Testors, Krylon, and Rustoleum spray paints take 7 days to fully cure and will pick up a lot of dust/lint during that time because they remain tacky to the touch. Important Painting Tips!
What is masking in airbrushing?
Masking is one of the most useful techniques in airbrushing. It provides airbrush artists and artisans with control that they would not otherwise have. Plus, it can speed up the progress of a project ten fold. Masking can be broken down into three basic categories: Stencils, Tapes and Films.

What paint is best for action figures?
Use acrylic paints and don’t use the cheapo dollar a bottle acrylic paints.
Go to a hobby and craft store and look around the model cars.
Look for Testors Model Masters Acrylics (their enamel paints look almost identical, do NOT use enamel paint on Marvel Legends).

Can dust damage action figures?
At worst, dust just makes your figures look dirty; however, that’s usually the worst thing it can do.

How do I keep my action figures clean?
Put a small amount of soap on the toothbrush, just a small drop, and begin to give the figure, still wet from its soak, a gentle scrubbing.
Do not use too much pressure, just enough to clean off the dirt and grime.
Can you airbrush cardboard?
Yes, you can use spray paint on cardboard.
Most people are hesitant to use spray paint because they notice how cardboard warps easily.
However, this is because when the spray paint is used improperly, the paint sinks down inside the cardboard.
Spray a light first coat over the cardboard and wait for it to dry.
What is Watercolour masking fluid?
Masking fluid is a liquid latex-based product that is very effective at keeping small areas and thin lines white when painting on watercolour paper.
The rubber prevents the paint from reaching the paper and is peeled off to expose the white paper left untouched.

How do you make an action figure shine?
Spray a little on a nice micro fiber rag and work it on the panel area you are trying to shine.
This is not as shiny as the Future floor wax method, but it does get rid of the dullness of the unpainted plastic panels.
I have used this method on a lot of my figures to get that factory muck off of them.
