Hold a well-ironed twin or full sized bed sheet horizontal from the floor in front of you.
Wrap the sheet around your waist, once the length is right, as tightly as you would wear the waistband of a pair of pants and bring the sheet together in the front to one side.

Jedi robes are usually made out of wool, but I find this to be both prohibitatively expensive and heavy. If you want to go that route, by all means, do it. A rougher, or any texture will also help hide any machine or hand stitches you have to make.

Can I 3D print myself?
To 3D scan yourself, you should use a process called photogrammetry which is taking several pictures from a phone or normal camera, then uploading it to 3D reconstruction software, a great one being Meshroom. You can then clean imperfections of the model using the Blender app and 3D print it.
How do you make plastic action figures?
In this process, molten plastic is pumped into a two-piece mold. Pressure is then applied to hold the mold together while the plastic cools and hardens. The mold is then opened and the plastic component is ejected. Each piece of the figure is made in this fashion.
